Rigoletto

(G. Verdi)

Rigoletto de G. Puccini

Teatro Avenida - Buenos Aires (Argentine)

Première April 14, 2005

This production was nominated by the Critics' Association as the best production of 2005.

I decided to take a fresh look at this work, setting it in the 1930s and 40s while maintaining the archetypal character of each personality in the plot.
